My 1st duty as manager of Waltham was to clear out the dead wood. After only 5 days in the managers chair i had completely replaced the staff and released all the players from the team.
for my 1st few friendlies i was with a senior squad so my youths took on the task of making us look competitve. We did ok, but as to be expected not many good results.
As pre-season moved on a i started adding players putting them straight into the 1st team to ensure they would be fit for our first game away to Romford.
Pre-seasons results slightly improved but i didn’t really take much out of those games other than a fitness test. Here’s the results of our friendlies:
By the time of the last 2 friendlies i was settled with my new team and ready to see if i could take this team from the media predicted 22nd place finish to a bit higher.
I said i was busy in the transfer market, and i wasn’t kidding! here’s my in’s and out’s:
Lot’s of good players there, i hope! As the season is now upon us i must go and concentrate on the league. next report is January 1

Wow, im managing in the same division with Croydon Athletic. How much money did you get for wages as if I released all my players/staff, i’d get perhaps £500 more. Most of my team is on non-contract.
