January 2013 is here and my relegation fight with Wroxham continues. Newly promoted last season Wroxham where odds on favorites to go back down and all i can say is that we are doing ok. My soul goal for this season is to avoid relegation and we currently sit in 21st spot 2 points off safety!

Ryman Division 1 North: As it Stands.

There’s been alot of rotation with the squad and players not performing. I have had to rely on my own scouting skills to bring in players as i am yet to get a decent scout apply for the job. Recently i added William Kadzidlo on loan from Supermarine. He hasn’t played yet but he should bring enough to the team to improve our scoring.

We’ve had a pretty good time in the cup comps too, getting to the Semi Final of the Norfolk Senior Cup where Great Yarmouth stand in our way of a final biirth.

Overall as frustrating it is to lose alot, staying up is the main objective, with half the season left i think it will be a tight finish!

Wroxham Pre-Season 2012

I am finished with pre-season here at Wroxham and i must admit it wasn’t easy. firstly i had to hire some staff as i was the only one at the club, but i have managed to get most of my staff, except scouts!

Here’s how the backroom looks now:

Pretty small squad to work with at the moment, i don’t want to make many moves until i have a scout on board

We didn’t win a friendly but we got to play hearts in a nice cash cow for the club

The new season is now upon us, and avoiding relegation is my goal. this team have come up from the 9th tier of the English system so this will be a real test! See you in Janurary, and thanks for reading.

Moving On… Wroxham

After the Shambles of what i went through as a manager at Waltham i was ready to move on and find a new club. There were plenty oj jobs to apply for but i only got 2 offers back. The best of those offers was to take over at Wroxham. Which i gladly accepted.

Very Little is known about this blub, but here is a small run down.

I will be taking a different approach with Wroxham, keeping all players and staff and trying to build from there. Pre-season report coming.

Worst Season In Memory. 11/12 Wrap

The second half of my first season in charge at Waltham was nothing close of a disaster.

We ended being second from bottom by the end of the last game thanks to a 19 game losing streak that would see us getting relegated from the competition. I’ve never really been one to get emotional over a game, but this got me. i tried my all and we just couldn’t save ourselves.

The Squad had more than enough by game 42.

And the inevitable sacking….

A season i would rather forget, and move on. Hopefully i can find a new club soon and build a successful team.

Waltham Forest: Janurary 2012

I would be lying if i said my 1st season in charge with Waltham wasn’t filled with ups and downs.

Our season started brightly enough winning plenty of games and getting to 3rd in the league after 10 games. Our lack of pre-season training with fitness came to bite us in the ass come game 23. here’s how it all panned out

League Table as of 01.01.2012

15th after 22 games played is ok for me, the board seem happy, I’ll take that.

This graph shows you the great start we had, and the fall into 15th. This has mostly been due to the lack of fitness in the squad. After rushing to put together a team before the seasons start we didn’t get a lot of time to get match fit and ready. this is how it cost us.

As you can see from the image on the left after only 30 games my team are struggling Poor management on my part, but hopefully i can get them fit enough to get them to the end of the season. I have changed the training schedule to make sure Aerobic and strength training take priority.

It hasn’t all been bad though. i have been pleased with the form of my main centre back Daryl Bourgeois

In key games we came up against Enfield Town who were tipped for promotion, really pleased with this result.

Then there was the local derby at Abbey, a well earned 1-0 win.

In Cup news, we had most of our cup commitments over by Novermber. Here’s a rundown of how we went.

Alan Boon Cup: 2nd Round 3-4 loss on penalties to Mersth

Essex Senior Cup: 3rd Round 5-4 loss to Grays reserves on penalties

FA Trophy: 2nd Qualifying Round a 3-0 loss to Leamington

FA Cup: Preliminary Round loss to Bishop Auckland 2-0

My focus this season was to get a stable league finish, so being out of all cup comps isn’t the end of the world.
